On the 4th (local time), according to CoinGlass data, a total of $1.37 billion worth of futures positions were liquidated in the digital asset market over the past 24 hours. Specifically, $1.23 billion in long positions were liquidated and $142.6 million in short positions were liquidated.

The largest liquidation occurred in Bitcoin (BTC). Bitcoin saw $396.44 million in position liquidations over 24 hours, of which long and short positions were liquidated for $375.51 million and $20.93 million, respectively.

Ethereum (ETH) saw $362.2 million in liquidations over the same period, of which long positions accounted for $324.3 million and short positions for $37.9 million.
