Over the past 24 hours, the size of position liquidations in the perpetual futures market for virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) was recorded at 1.86 billion dollars.

On the 5th (local time), according to CoinGlass data, a total of 1.86 billion dollars worth of futures positions were liquidated in the virtual asset market over the past 24 hours. Specifically, long positions saw 1.45 billion dollars liquidated, while short positions saw 416,440,000 dollars liquidated.

The largest liquidation was recorded for Ethereum (ETH). Ethereum experienced 621,110,000 dollars in position liquidations over 24 hours, of which long and short positions accounted for 528,260,000 dollars and 92,850,000 dollars, respectively.

Bitcoin (BTC) saw 538,710,000 dollars in liquidations during the same period, of which long positions accounted for 481,390,000 dollars and short positions for 57,320,000 dollars.
