Global sports blockchain company Chiliz (CHZ) announced on the 5th that it received the 'Layer 1 Solution of the Year' award at 'Blockchain Life 2025' held in Dubai.

The stable tokenization ecosystem within the sports industry through the Chiliz Chain and the global expansion of its fan-engagement model are believed to have received high marks.

At the Blockchain Life 2025 event, Max Rabinovich, Chiliz Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), also gave a presentation on "How tokenization is transforming the sports industry." CSO Rabinovich said, "Sports tokenization is enabling fans to participate directly in club operations and decision-making, beyond being mere consumers," adding, "This change is redefining fan experience and value systems in the sports industry."

Alexandre Dreyfus, Chiliz Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said, "This award recognizes not only the technological capability of the Chiliz Chain but also the potential for fans, clubs, and leagues to share real value through blockchain," and added, "Chiliz will continue to lead innovation across the sports and entertainment industries."
