Ethereum (ETH) infrastructure project 'ETHGas' announced on the 5th that it held its first official meetup in Seoul.
This event was ETHGas's first offline official meetup, drawing significant interest as more than 1,400 people registered within a week. Some community members created posters and art to encourage attendance, and about 250 major domestic crypto influencers and bloggers voluntarily shared the event. On the main stage, ETHGas founder Kevin attended and gave a presentation titled 'Building a Real-time Blockspace Financial Market.' Networking continued at the reception held after the event.
During the meetup, ETHGas also held partnership discussions with major Korean Web3 companies. It discussed security and user experience improvement measures with hardware wallet company D'Cent, and shared plans for data-centered blockspace research collaboration with research and media firm Xangle. It also met with representatives from Presto Labs and Korea Digital Asset (KODA) to exchange views on the development direction of the blockspace market from the perspective of institutional investors.
ETHGas said, "Korea is a key market for Ethereum scaling and adoption," and added, "Through this visit, we plan to strengthen cooperation with local partners and concretize our global mission to implement real-time Ethereum."
