James Wynn, known as a whale of the decentralized exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid (HYPE), has bet on a Bitcoin (BTC) short (sell) position.
On the 10th (local time), James Wynn said via X, "I sold my entire cryptocurrency portfolio," and "Over the past few hours I even put all my stablecoins in and went all-in on short positions." Wynn said, "(Bitcoin) price will fall from $92,000 to $67,000," adding, "If I'm wrong, I'll delete my account forever."
Wynn was reportedly liquidated a total of 12 times in the past 12 hours. Cointelegraph reported that "(Wynn) was liquidated 45 times over the past two months," and "Wynn had been operating multiple leveraged short positions before the cryptocurrency market showed signs of recovery."
