The U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is launching its service 'Coinbase Business' in Singapore.
Coinbase said on the 12th (local time) that it will launch Coinbase Business in Singapore. Coinbase Business is a dedicated platform for business-to-business (B2B) transactions that Coinbase launched last June. Singapore is the first country outside the United States where Coinbase is launching the platform.
The local banking partner is global investment bank (IB) Standard Chartered (SC). Coinbase said, "Singapore companies can securely buy, sell, and convert cryptocurrencies directly from (Coinbase Business) accounts," and "(With cooperation with SC) Singapore dollar transfers will also be easy."
