The release of major economic indicators has been repeatedly delayed due to the impact of the U.S. government shutdown.

On the 13th (local time), overseas economic news channel 'Walter Bloomberg' said via X (formerly Twitter), "The U.S. Department of Labor has postponed the release of the weekly initial unemployment claims that was scheduled to be published that day." It added, "The October consumer price index (CPI) release was also delayed due to the shutdown."

President Trump officially ended the shutdown by signing a temporary funding bill, but because statistical production work is unlikely to normalize immediately, major indicator releases are expected to resume sequentially.
