Hunter Horsley(Hunter Horsley), Bitwise(Bitwise) Chief Executive Officer(CEO), diagnosed the recent virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) market adjustment as "it has already been a bear market for about six months, and it is now at its tail end."
On the 14th (Korean time), CEO Horsley wrote on X (X·formerly Twitter) that "the 'four-year cycle' model we commonly refer to is based on past market conditions," and "the market structure has completely changed since the launch of Bitcoin spot ETF and the inauguration of the new administration." He explained that "new players, new supply-demand factors, and new trading motivations have emerged, greatly changing market dynamics."
He added, "I believe we have already gone through a bear market adjustment over the past six months, and the process is now almost finished." However, he maintained a mid- to long-term bullish outlook, saying, "the current market setting is more robust than ever."
