Ju Ki-young "Dollar liquidity contraction... investor sentiment will reverse if rates are cut"

Ju Ki-young, CEO of CryptoQuant, said that if liquidity recovers due to interest rate cuts, etc., the recently contracted cryptocurrency investor sentiment could reverse.

On the 18th, through X, Ju said "(Bitcoin's) short-term environment is bearish," and "dollar liquidity is slow and the funding market is also tight." Ju said, "(However) I do not expect Bitcoin inflows to completely stop or turn into continuous outflows over the next six months," and "if a narrative of interest rate cuts or liquidity easing emerges, market sentiment could immediately reverse," adding, "ETF liquidity would also quickly recover."

He went on to predict, "The cryptocurrency ecosystem is likely to be reorganized around assets that were traded only in traditional finance (TradFi)." Ju said, "The expansion of stablecoins and the wave of listed companies' 'reverse token offerings (reverse ICOs)' are moving traditional assets to decentralized exchanges (DEXs)," and "on-chain Tesla long/short trading will become possible." He added, "(In that case) Bitcoin will be the biggest beneficiary," and "(however) altcoins with weak narratives or no tangible results are likely to lose liquidity."
