As Bitcoin (BTC) prices recently fell below 90,000 dollars, Michael Saylor's Bitcoin buying strategy is also being adjusted. The market has assessed that concerns about a high-leverage, Bitcoin-centered management model are being raised again.

On the 19th, according to the crypto asset (cryptocurrency) media Cryptopolitan, the Bitcoin holdings of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), led by Saylor, are counted at approximately 649,870 BTC. As Bitcoin recently fell to the low 90,000 dollars, about 40% of those holdings entered the unrealized loss range. Strategy recently also purchased 8,178 BTC at an average of 102,171 dollars per coin, and that lot is also reportedly currently recording about 100 million dollars in losses.

The outlet reported that Strategy's stock price has fallen about 55% from the year's high, returning to levels of October last year. In the process, corporate value is estimated to have decreased by about 72 billion dollars, and the market analyzed that a leverage-based, Bitcoin-focused concentration strategy is acting as a burden amid rising volatility.

Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff criticized Strategy's management strategy as a "scam." He claimed, "I believe Strategy will eventually go bankrupt no matter how things go." He also said, "While the price of gold remains above 4,000 dollars per ounce, Bitcoin's gold-denominated price has fallen about 40%," and "the digital gold narrative is collapsing."

Meanwhile, Bitcoin has recently adjusted more than 25% from its peak, consecutively breaking down major psychological support levels. Liquidation sizes have also increased amid rising volatility, and Strategy has not issued a separate statement regarding the unrealized losses. Saylor recently left a short message on X (formerly Twitter) saying "Hold (HODL)."
