Major Japanese asset managers are reportedly considering launching investment products for virtual assets (cryptocurrencies), including Bitcoin (BTC).

On the 24th (local time), the crypto-focused media Bitcoin Magazine (Bitcoin Magazine) reported via X (formerly Twitter) that "Nomura Holdings (Nomura) and other major Japanese asset managers are preparing Bitcoin and other virtual asset-based investment products."

Specific product structures or launch timing have not been disclosed; however, the industry assesses that the likelihood of Japanese institutional funds entering the market has increased.
