On the 25th, overseas economic news channel Walter Bloomberg reported, "A U.S. government official told ABC News that Ukraine has accepted the terms of a peace agreement." According to the outlet, U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll, after holding consultations with the Ukrainian side in Geneva, Switzerland, last weekend, held a private contact with the Russian side in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on the 24th (local time).
The official said, "What remains is adjustment of some details." A U.S. Army spokesperson also said, "Negotiations with Russia are progressing and are being closely coordinated with the White House."
However, the Ukrainian and Russian governments have not officially confirmed whether negotiating delegations attended in Abu Dhabi.
