Price surges 250% in one year… Mutuum Finance presale nearing close
Summary
- Mutuum Finance's native token MUTM has surged about 250% in the past year, and the Phase 6 presale allocation is reported to be about 95% sold.
- The protocol is expected to include real-time liquidity pools, yield-generating mt tokens, Ethereum and Tether support, and a verified security system.
- Mutuum Finance is preparing various expansions and incentives for investors, including stablecoin introduction, lower fees, and card payment services.

The decentralized lending protocol Mutuum Finance's sixth token presale allocation has been reported to be nearly 95% sold out. As the market views it as a promising DeFi project, analysts say token demand could accelerate.
According to industry sources on the 28th, about 95% of Mutuum Finance's native token MUTM Phase 6 presale allocation had been sold as of that date. Previously, Mutuum Finance raised 19 million dollars (about 28 billion won) through five stages of token presales, and the number of investors exceeded 18,200. MUTM's price rose from 0.01 dollars at the start of the year to 0.035 dollars now, nearly 250% over the past year.
The token supply is up to 4 billion. 45.5% of the total supply is allocated to investors. Of the investor allocation, 790 million have already been sold.
MUTM's presale applies fixed prices by phase. When token demand increases, the next phase presale automatically proceeds. This is why the initial allocation is being sold faster than market expectations.
V1 protocol launch imminent
Mutuum Finance will also launch the V1 protocol on the Sepolia testnet in Q4 this year. The protocol will include real-time liquidity pools, yield-generating mt tokens (mtTokens), debt-tracking tokens, liquidation bots, and support for Ethereum (ETH)·Tether (USDT). This context partly explains why the market has recently raised MUTM's price outlook for Q1 next year.
Blockchain security verification is being conducted by global web3 security firm Halborn Security. Halborn Security is currently auditing Mutuum Finance's core contracts. Mutuum Finance said, "Code development is already complete and Halborn Security is in the analysis phase," adding, "Halborn Security's audits are known for their stringent standards." An industry source explained, "Among early DeFi projects, few have passed Halborn Security's audit."
Enhancing tokenomics with 'mt token'
The mt token is one of Mutuum Finance's core elements. Specifically, Mutuum Finance uses mt tokens as interest-bearing tokens that lenders receive when depositing assets into liquidity pools. The project explains that these tokens are designed so that their value rises as lending activity increases, which is expected to continuously generate demand for the protocol.
They have also introduced a 'Buy and Distribute' model. Part of the protocol's revenue is used to buy MUTM on open markets, and the purchased tokens are distributed to users who stake mt tokens in a safety module. This structure is expected to create long-term buy pressure and provide incentives for investors to remain in the Mutuum Finance ecosystem.
Stablecoin introduction also planned
Mutuum Finance plans to introduce a dollar-pegged stablecoin. In addition, a Layer 2 expansion to reduce fees and speed up loans is planned. Mutuum Finance said, "A robust oracle system design is also part of these plans," adding, "Accurate price determination is essential for liquidations and risk management, and the oracle system increases overall stability."
They have also implemented a daily reward system. Top contributors to Mutuum Finance receive MUTM worth $500 daily. Supporting card payments without limits has also been analyzed as increasing investor inflows, since tokens can be purchased directly via card payments without exchange transfer procedures.
Industry observers say Mutuum Finance could emerge as a major DeFi project next year. Another industry source said, "Actual usability, growing demand, audit history, planned stablecoin introduction, and a clear roadmap are Mutuum Finance's strengths," adding, "The final phase of the token presale could sell out faster than before."
