U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 30th (local time) in Florida, immediately after consultations between the United States and Ukraine, that "I think there is a good possibility (that a ceasefire agreement will be reached)."

According to AP and AFP, President Trump gave this answer to reporters' questions about the talks while on board his plane en route to Washington, D.C., from Florida that day.

However, President Trump mentioned a 'corruption scandal' within the Ukrainian government, saying, "Ukraine has some tricky small issues."

The United States and Ukraine held high-level talks in Florida that day on a ceasefire proposal. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who attended the talks, is scheduled to leave for Moscow next week to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump also confirmed that he recently had a phone call with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, saying that his pressure to close Venezuela's airspace does not mean a U.S. military attack on Venezuela is imminent.

The previous day, President Trump posted on the social media platform Truth Social (SNS), "To all airlines and pilots, drug dealers and human traffickers: consider the airspace over and around Venezuela to be closed."
