President Trump is reported to be scheduled to hold a high-level meeting to discuss the situation in Venezuela.

On the 1st (local time), overseas economic breaking news channel Walter Bloomberg, citing CNN, reported, "President Trump will preside over a high-level meeting on Venezuela at 5 p.m. (local time) in the White House Oval Office." The meeting is expected to be attended by Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense; Dan Cain, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Susie Wiles, White House Chief of Staff; and Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff.

President Trump warned last weekend that "the airspace over Venezuela should be considered 'closed'." He also said only that he had spoken with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and did not disclose the specific contents of the conversation.

Recently, the U.S. military carried out an operation striking vessels in waters near Venezuela, describing it as a response to stop drug smuggling. The U.S. government has classified the Maduro regime as a terrorist organization led by the Soles Cartel (Cartel de los Soles) and is increasing pressure.
