Kyobo Life Insurance said on the 3rd that it participated in the public testnet of Circle's blockchain network 'Arc'. This is the first time a domestic insurer has participated in the Arc testnet.
Circle is the issuer of the US dollar-based stablecoin 'USDC' and is promoting the establishment of blockchain-based payment and digital asset management infrastructure through Arc. Arc is a next-generation financial network that features a predictable stablecoin fee structure, transaction finality of less than one second (finality), and an enhanced security framework.
Kyobo Life Insurance said it plans to review the possibility of collaboration with various financial players within the Arc ecosystem through this participation.
A Kyobo Life Insurance official said, "Arc is a next-generation digital financial network based on transparency and trust," and added, "As a leading domestic life insurer, we will pursue trust-based financial innovation and contribute to creating a secure digital asset environment."
