On the 5th (local time), on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain reported that a long-dormant address starting with '1Au1uZ' transferred 1000 bitcoins to a new wallet about 4 hours ago. It is worth about $89 million at current prices.
The whale first received the 1000 bitcoins 14 years ago, when the price of Bitcoin was only $3.88 each. That day, Bitcoin traded at $89,230 on the Binance Tether (USDT) market. Compared with the initial holding price, this represents an increase of more than 2.3 million times.
