On the 9th (local time), according to Investing.com, Automatic Data Processing (ADP) said through its employment indicator 'NER Pulse' that private-sector employment increased by an average of 4750 per week over the four weeks through the 22nd of last month.
Earlier in October, private employment trends had clearly weakened. ADP said that over the four weeks through October 25, private employment decreased by an average of 11250 per week.
Meanwhile, NER Pulse is a weekly indicator that provides an early look at ADP's monthly employment report, producing estimates based on a four-week moving average.
