Brazil's largest private bank Itaú Unibanco (Itaú Unibanco) has reportedly recommended including Bitcoin (BTC) in investment portfolios up to 3%.
On the 12th (local time), according to Bitcoin Magazine, Itaú presented Bitcoin as one of the alternative investment assets in its client asset allocation strategy and concluded that an allocation of up to 3% is appropriate from a risk diversification perspective.
Itaú Unibanco is Brazil's largest financial group, and in September last year it established a dedicated digital assets (cryptocurrency) team within its asset management unit 'Itaú Asset', signaling a full-scale entry into the digital asset market. Currently, the assets under management operated by Itaú Asset amount to about $185 billion.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin is trading in the $90,100 range, down 2.3% from the previous day on a Binance Tether (USDT) basis.
