Theoriq COO "AI agents solve complex DeFi... mainnet and token launch" [Coin Interview]
Summary
- Theoriq's AI agents can alleviate DeFi's complexity by directly operating and automating capital management.
- Theoriq will soon launch a mainnet and ecosystem token THQ, and said THQ will be used centrally for AI agent operations and network governance.
- He emphasized that the Korean market is a key axis of Theoriq's early adoption, noting that about 30% of the THQ crowdsale was sold in Korea.

AI agents directly manage capital
Simplifying DeFi through automation
Mainnet and THQ token launch imminent
"Korea, a key axis of early adoption"

"Theoriq is building a financial operating system optimized for artificial intelligence (AI). The core is enabling autonomous AI agents to directly operate and manage capital on blockchain."
Pei Chen, Theoriq Chief Operating Officer (COO), said in an interview with BloomingBit on the 16th, "Theoriq is a protocol designed around AI agents that autonomously perform complex on-chain tasks such as yield optimization, liquidity provision, and trading strategy formulation."
Solving complex DeFi with AI agents

Theoriq is a project building infrastructure for autonomous AI agents operating in blockchain environments. It is designed so AI agents can independently manage capital within the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) ecosystem, focusing on structurally reducing the complexity of decentralized finance (DeFi), which has high user entry barriers.
COO Chen explained, "Theoriq's vision is not simply to build AI tools but to build a liquidity layer for AI," adding, "We are creating infrastructure that enables AI to function as an actual financial actor."
He cited the 'continuous management burden' as DeFi's biggest limitation. He explained that in markets that run 24 hours and high-leverage structures, there are structural limits to humans managing all on-chain risks in real time.
COO Chen said, "As DeFi products that support high leverage increase, market complexity and volatility are also growing," adding, "There is clearly a limit to humans managing all on-chain risks in real time. Autonomous AI agents replacing them is a much more efficient solution."
He also emphasized that Theoriq's AI agents differ from existing AI trading bots. COO Chen said, "An AI agent that works properly in the DeFi environment must have a scale and precision that human traders cannot match," explaining, "Theoriq's agents are closer to 'autonomous financial participants' that analyze problems themselves and formulate and execute strategies, rather than simple automation tools."
He added, "Theoriq's AI agents operate as a collaborative 'agent swarm (Swarm)'" and explained, "They help users manage DeFi assets more intuitively by readjusting positions and allocating capital efficiently according to market changes."
Mainnet and token launch... "Strong interest in the Korean market"

On the 16th (local time), Theoriq plans to launch a mainnet based on Base and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and issue the ecosystem token 'THQ'. THQ's total supply is 1 billion, allocated to the community (18%), contributors (24%), strategic investors (30%), etc.
COO Chen said, "THQ is not merely an investment token but a core infrastructure token that operates Theoriq's ecosystem," adding, "It will play an essential role across the agent AI economy."
THQ will be used as a means to execute AI agents and grant access rights. THQ is required to participate in Theoriq's agent network or to operate a specific agent. In addition, there is a structure where participants who contribute to network stability and security through THQ staking receive rewards.
Ecosystem incentives are also designed around THQ. Rewards paid to agent operators, developers, and contributors are made in THQ, and token holders can participate in governance to influence the network's operational direction and major policy decisions.
He also expressed expectations for the Korean market. COO Chen said, "About 30% of the token crowd sale volume conducted through the Kaito launchpad came from Korea," adding, "We want to showcase various services through partnerships with Korean institutions."
He said, "Theoriq is also working to build an education-focused community," adding, "We plan to actively promote the importance of AI agents and on-chain risk management in the Korean market and expand early participants."
He added, "About 200 people attended the community event held in Korea last November," adding, "We will continue to share, from a practical perspective, the new on-chain economy that AI, virtual assets, and agents will create."
