Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance updated its blacklist.

Binance said on the 17th (local time) that it had added BitABC, Central Research, Andrew Lee, Suki Yang, Fiona Lee and others to the blacklist. Binance said, "It has received reports of individuals and groups impersonating 'Binance listing agents' or claiming to assist with token listings for a fee," and explained, "Binance does not authorize any individual or group to provide listing services."

Binance emphasized, "Recently (impersonation) scams have surged." Binance said, "Scammers impersonate Binance staff, official listing agents, etc., claim to guarantee listings for a fee," and "Listing guarantees are all false, and Binance does not charge fees for project evaluation or listing applications."
