Infrared Finance (IR) said on the 17th that the token generation event (TGE) conducted through Binance Wallet has been successfully completed.

Binance Wallet held the exclusive TGE for Infrared Finance's token 'IR' from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Korean time) that day. This TGE was a limited event for Binance Wallet users, and participants took part in the subscription using Binance Alpha Points (Binance Alpha Points).

According to Infrared Finance, more than 40,000 individual participants took part in this TGE, and a total of 125,700 Binance Coin (BNB) were deposited.

Binance Wallet also announced a follow-up campaign to additionally distribute 5,000,000 IR tokens after this TGE. The allocation will be disclosed sequentially through separate events in the future.

Meanwhile, Infrared Finance is a liquidity staking protocol in the VeraChain (BERA) ecosystem. After the launch of the VeraChain mainnet in February this year, it rapidly grew, surpassing $2 billion in total value locked (TVL) within two months.
