Summary
- Korbit announced that it will run a virtual asset donation campaign with the Social Solidarity Bank until March 18, 2026.
- The campaign emphasizes blockchain-based transparency and ESG management, and said it will build an environment that allows donors to easily participate with virtual assets.
- The Social Solidarity Bank said it expects the spread of a transparent culture of sharing in the digital era, and noted the potential for blockchain technology to be used in existing financial markets.

Korbit, a virtual asset exchange, said on the 18th that it will run a virtual asset donation campaign with the Social Solidarity Bank to support the self-reliance of vulnerable groups until March 18, 2026.
The Social Solidarity Bank is a nonprofit social finance organization that helps the self-reliance of low-income, low-credit vulnerable groups excluded from the formal financial system by providing low-interest loans such as start-up funds or living expenses.
Korbit and the Social Solidarity Bank will jointly carry out the 'Virtual Asset Donation Campaign to Support Future Generations' through this memorandum of understanding (MOU).
Korbit plans to use its technology, based on its exchange operation experience, to build and support an environment in which donors can donate virtual assets.
A Korbit official said, "Technology innovation leading to social inclusion is the core of Korbit's pursuit of ESG management," and added, "Through this campaign with the Social Solidarity Bank, we will do our best to establish an advanced donation culture based on transparency and to assist neighbors who need practical financial support."
An Jun-sang, executive director of the Social Solidarity Bank, said, "Donations through virtual assets are a meaningful attempt that goes beyond a new donation method to create a transparent and immediate culture of sharing in the digital age," and added, "We expect that by using blockchain-based transparency and accessibility, it will become an opportunity for more citizens to easily realize social value in their daily lives."
