On the 19th, Maartunn, an analyst at CryptoQuant, an on-chain cryptoasset (cryptocurrency) analytics firm, said on X (formerly Twitter), "U.S. (Bitcoin) investors are strongly pressing the sell button."
According to Maartunn, the Coinbase Premium Gap, an indicator gauging U.S. investor flows, has currently fallen to -57 dollars. The Coinbase Premium refers to the difference between the Bitcoin price on U.S.-based exchange Coinbase and prices on global exchanges, and a negative zone is interpreted as a selling-dominant phase centered on U.S. investors.
He explained, "That the premium gap has declined to this level suggests that aggressive selling pressure has emerged among U.S. traders."
