Trump: "U.S. stock market and economic indicators improve... nation enters phase of national security and economic recovery"

U.S. President Donald J. Trump emphasized his country's border policy, law and order, and improvements in economic indicators as achievements for Christmas. President Trump asserted that the United States has entered a phase of strong national security and economic recovery.

According to foreign media on the 25th (local time), President Trump said in his Christmas message that social order is being restored due to strengthened control of illegal immigration and changes in law enforcement policy, and that "the stock market and retirement pension accounts (401K) are also at record highs."

He mentioned, "The open-border policy has ended and situations in which law enforcement was weakened no longer exist." He also claimed, "Policy changes in women's sports and controversies over gender-related systems have also been resolved."

On economic performance, he emphasized, "Along with a record stock market, inflationary pressures have disappeared and crime rates have fallen to their lowest levels in decades." Regarding the gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate announced the previous day, President Trump mentioned, "At 4.3%, it exceeded market expectations by about 2 percentage points."

Regarding tariff policy, he evaluated, "It led to large-scale growth and prosperity and generated economic results on the order of trillions of dollars." He claimed that through this, "the United States' fiscal foundation and industrial competitiveness have been strengthened."

On national security as well, President Trump said, "The United States has acquired the strongest security capabilities in history." He said in the international community, "The United States is being respected again and its standing may be higher than at any time in the past."
