D'CENT is running Round 2 of its year-end promotion "Year-End Gala," which combines hardware wallet discounts with collaborations with Web3 projects. Following Round 1, the second round, which includes SynFutures and ChangeNOW, begins this week.

The Year-End Gala is a year-end limited campaign that offers D'CENT wallets at the lowest prices of the year while providing wallet users with opportunities to experience actual on-chain activity. It is characterized not just by simple price discounts but by combining participation elements that can be used even after purchasing the wallet.

D'CENT has built competitiveness in the hardware wallet sector focused on cold wallets that store digital assets offline. With security as a core value, it has expanded its global user base and recently focused on improving user experience so that various blockchain activities can be experienced more easily through the wallet. The attempt is to simplify on-chain transactions and asset movements around the wallet to improve accessibility for general users.

This strategy aligns with D'CENT's global growth trend. According to IoTrust, the developer of D'CENT, cumulative sales exceeded KRW 10 billion as of October and have more than doubled year-on-year. More than 70% of total sales occur overseas, and demand for personal security is expanding, particularly in the North American market. The company expects total sales for the year to be about three times last year's level when considering the year-end peak season.

Two projects representing on-chain use cases are participating in this Round 2. SynFutures is a decentralized trading protocol specialized in perpetual futures, designed to enable market trading and openings on-chain. It supports long and short positions and leveraged trading for not only Bitcoin and Ethereum but also altcoins, memecoins, NFTs, and real-world asset tokenization (RWA), while allowing users to maintain self-custody. It is currently preparing to transition to its own high-performance chain to improve transaction speed and fees, and plans to expand into stock and index-based assets in the long term.

ChangeNOW is a non-custodial crypto asset management service that can be used without account registration. It provides cross-chain swap functionality supporting over 150 blockchains and more than 1,200 coins, and is used for asset transfers with an average execution speed of around two minutes. By enabling asset exchanges without complex procedures, it lowers the on-chain entry barrier for cold wallet users.

D'CENT structured Round 2 so that both wallet purchasers and existing users can participate in on-chain missions released during the event period and receive rewards. During the event, D'CENT wallet purchasers are included in the reward draw for participating projects, and new and existing users can complete on-chain missions released weekly over five weeks to gain additional reward opportunities.

A D'CENT representative said, "The Year-End Gala is not simply a hardware wallet discount event but a campaign designed for users to experience blockchain activity centered on the wallet," adding, "We wanted to present a structure that allows users to naturally transition from the cold wallet as a starting point into the Web3 environment."
