Hankyung Bloomingbit surpasses 1 million monthly active users (MAU)
Summary
- Bloomingbit said it surpassed 1 million monthly active users (MAU).
- It said that global market expansion, the launch of multilingual services, and an increased share of users in the Americas and Europe were key factors in the growth.
- It said the information it produces is supplied to domestic and international virtual asset exchanges and financial institutions and global platforms, and that collaborations with major virtual asset companies have expanded its industry influence.

The virtual asset (cryptocurrency) news and investment information platform 'Bloomingbit(Bloomingbit)', operated by the blockchain business affiliate of Hankyung Media Group, said on the 31st that its monthly active users (MAU) surpassed 1 million.
As of that date, Bloomingbit's MAU was 1.06 million according to Google Analytics, having recorded 620,000 at the end of last year and growing by over 70% in one year.
This is attributed to launching multilingual services such as English and Japanese this year and intensifying efforts to expand into global markets from the second half of the year. In particular, the proportion of users from Anglophone and European regions is said to have increased significantly.
Bloomingbit aims to resolve information asymmetry among global virtual asset investors and delivers domestic and overseas virtual asset market news as quickly as possible, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The information produced by Bloomingbit is supplied to Korea's four major virtual asset exchanges — Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit — as well as regulated financial institutions such as Shinhan Bank and K Bank, and is also provided to global platforms and institutions such as CoinMarketCap, TradingView, and Investing.com.
This year Bloomingbit has been expanding its industry influence by consecutively collaborating with major virtual asset companies such as World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a virtual asset financial company jointly founded by the family of U.S. President Donald Trump; World, co-founded by Sam Altman, the 'father of ChatGPT'; and Hashed, Korea's largest virtual asset venture capital (VC).
Kim San-ha, CEO of Bloomingbit, said, "We are at a stage of confirming that the Bloomingbit service has utility for investors in global markets beyond Korea," and added, "Based on the know-how accumulated in the Korean virtual asset market, we will establish ourselves as a global service that can solve more investors' pain points (Pain Point, core inconvenience factors)."
