On the 1st (local time), according to CoinGlass, Bitcoin's fourth-quarter price return last year was -23.07%. It recorded a negative for the first time in 3 years since 2022 (-14.75%). In terms of the magnitude of the drop alone, it is the largest in 7 years since Q4 2018 (-42.16%).
Ethereum (ETH)'s fourth-quarter return last year was -28.28%. Ethereum also turned negative for the first time in 3 years since 2022 (-9.94%). In terms of the rate of decrease alone, it is the fourth following 2018 (-41.62%), 2016 (-39.47%), and 2019 (-28.9%).
