Gate.io introduces AI market analysis feature…supports users' 'investment decision-making'

Virtual asset exchange Gate.io (Gate) introduced an AI-based market analysis feature to its exchange application, strengthening information-provision functions for users. However, it excluded automatic trading functionality and limited its use to a supplementary tool that aids investment decision-making.

On the 8th (local time), according to a Cointelegraph report, Gate.io added the AI market analysis tool 'GateAI' to its trading app. The feature is designed to be accessible from various areas such as the token search screen, spot charts, and community feed.

GateAI provides automatic summaries and explanations based on market data. It presents contextual information such as decomposition of market factors by token and basic risk indicators, but actual trade execution is configured so that users make the decisions themselves. Gate said the feature is a decision-support tool rather than an automated trading system.

GateAI is also designed to indicate uncertainty for conclusions that are difficult to verify with data. The company said the focus was on providing only information that can be interpreted within the scope of existing data, rather than simply offering forecasts.
