Summary
- Quack AI said it has actively begun addressing the execution infrastructure problem, identified as the core bottleneck of the AI agent economy.
- Through the integrated execution layer Q402, it plans to automate agents' on-chain execution processes such as payments, enforcement, compliance, and record-keeping.
- It is prioritizing real-world validation using x402 BNB, and says this is proving various use cases including governance execution.

Quack AI, an AI-based modular governance layer, has fully entered the infrastructure competition by foregrounding the 'execution' problem, cited as the main bottleneck of the AI agent economy.
The focus of AI agent competition is shifting from 'intelligence' to 'execution.' Inference and decision-making capabilities are rapidly advancing, but there are continued observations that the execution infrastructure connecting these to real economic activity is still lacking.
Quack AI plans to build the foundation of the 'Agent Economy' through an execution layer, Q402, designed to enable AI agents to autonomously make payments, execute transactions, comply with rules, and leave auditable records. The aim is not simply to create smarter agents, but to first create a structure in which agents can actually act.
The core of AI is 'execution infrastructure'
Discussions around AI agents have long centered on intelligence. However, in real environments, no matter how sophisticated an agent's decisions are, it often stops at the execution stage. Existing on-chain structures that separate token approvals, gas management, payments, and policy verification obstruct autonomy.
Quack AI said, "Most current on-chain environments are designed assuming human workflows," adding, "this structure is a fundamental constraint for agents that need to operate autonomously." Decisions can be made, but execution still relies on manual approvals or centralized intermediaries.
Zaid Kayid (Zaid Kayid), Quack AI's Chief Business Officer (CBO), said, "AI intelligence is already scaling much faster than execution infrastructure," and added, "In structures where payments, approvals, gas management, and policy checks are separated, it is difficult to secure autonomy and safety at the same time." He added, "We saw execution as the real bottleneck of the AI agent economy."
With Q402, 'from signing to payment' in one go

Quack AI's solution is Q402. Q402 is an integrated 'sign-to-pay' execution layer designed for the agent economy, aiming to provide a single path that connects an agent's decision-making to actual on-chain execution.
Quack AI said, "Q402 is closer to execution infrastructure than a single product," and explained, "it focuses on structuring how intent is expressed, verified, executed, and recorded in an auditable form."
In this structure, a user or agent can perform on-chain actions such as payments, asset distribution, governance execution, and contract upgrades with a single signature. Subsequent execution and settlement are automatically handled according to predefined policies and constraints. Gas costs are paid on-chain but are designed so that users do not need to manage them directly.
Zaid, the CBO, said, "The key is to preserve autonomy while never leaving it unchecked," adding, "Q402 is designed so that signing, execution, and settlement proceed under clear rules without relying on centralized custody or manual approvals."
Real-world validation with x402 BNB…strengthening execution infrastructure

Quack AI has chosen a strategy of prioritizing real-world validation over rapid expansion. In this process, it is collaborating with Binance Chain (BNB) to operate x402 BNB as the first live implementation of the Q402 architecture.
Quack AI said, "x402 BNB is a real-world testbed validating Q402," adding, "through delegated execution and structured witness signatures, we are checking how sign-to-pay execution operates in an actual network environment." The company said this is not a simple demo but a stage to verify whether transparency, policy enforcement, and auditability are actually maintained.
Governance is also a major application area for Q402. Quack AI argues that many governance systems are nullified at the execution stage after decision-making. By connecting governance to the execution layer, voting results become immediately executable actions rather than symbolic declarations.
Quack AI aims to provide the foundation for AI agents to transition from mere tools to 'economic actors.' The goal is to enable structures where agents can execute payments, manage workflows, and coordinate on behalf of organizations and protocols.
The CBO said, "The agent economy is established not by smarter models but only on executable infrastructure," adding, "Q402 focuses on providing the basic primitives that allow agents to perform real economic activities under transparent and constrained conditions."
