Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) has increased its bitcoin (BTC) holdings further.
On the 12th, Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor said on X (formerly Twitter), "Strategy purchased an additional 13,627 bitcoins, deploying approximately $1.25 billion." The average purchase price was calculated at about $91,519 per coin.
With this purchase, Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings expanded to 687,410 coins. According to Saylor, as of January 11, 2026, Strategy has bought bitcoin with a total outlay of $51.8 billion, with an average acquisition cost of about $75,353 per coin.
