According to Walter Bloomberg, an overseas economic breaking-news channel, China said on the 19th that after the United States raised claims that China poses a threat in relation to Greenland, Washington is exploiting a “China threat” narrative for geopolitical purposes and urged it to stop.
The statement came after President Trump said the United States needs Greenland to counter China and Russia’s influence in the Arctic.
China said matters related to Greenland should be handled in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.
