Veteran trader Peter Brandt, known for accurately calling Bitcoin (BTC)’s 2018 crash, has shared his personal view that Bitcoin’s price could decline further.
On the 20th, Brandt wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that “I think Bitcoin could head into the $58,000 to $62,000 range.” He explained that Bitcoin is currently staying within a downward trend channel, and that the likelihood of additional declines is high unless strong buying pressure flows in.
Brandt added, “Even if it doesn’t go to that level, I won’t be embarrassed, and I don’t think I need to be criticized for it,” and said, “I can be wrong about half the time, and being wrong itself isn’t a problem for me.”
