Grayscale has initiated procedures to convert an investment product based on NEAR into an exchange-traded fund (ETF).
According to Wu Blockchain on the 21st, Grayscale filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to convert the Grayscale Near Trust into an ETF. If the registration is approved, it plans to uplist the existing trust shares (ticker: GSNR), currently traded on the OTCQB market, to NYSE Arca.
Grayscale said that once the listing process is completed, it will rename the product the 'Grayscale Near Trust ETF.'
