Trump family’s World Liberty to hold forum next month…CFTC, Goldman Sachs and others to attend

World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the crypto project backed by the family of U.S. President Donald Trump, will hold its first in-house forum next month.

World Liberty Financial said on the 21st (local time) it will host the “World Liberty Forum” on the 18th of next month at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Mar-a-Lago is President Trump’s residence.

Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son and a co-founder of the World Liberty Forum, said, “This forum will bring together an unprecedented number of policymakers at a time when the global economic order is being reshaped,” adding, “It will be a venue to define what America’s innovation, leadership and economic influence will look like over the next 100 years.”

The World Liberty Forum will draw a slate of industry heavyweights. From Wall Street, attendees include Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon and Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson. Michael Selik, chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and U.S. Rep. Kelly Loeffler are also expected to speak at the forum.

Trump Jr. will also attend the forum alongside Eric Trump, President Trump’s second son. Whether President Trump will attend has not been disclosed.

Zach Witkoff, a co-founder of World Liberty Financial, said, “We left a historic mark last year by unveiling the dollar stablecoin USD1, and we plan to make an even more groundbreaking announcement at this forum,” adding, “The forum will serve as a new platform to accelerate World Liberty Financial’s growth.”
