Spacecoin Signs Strategic Partnership With World Liberty Financial (WLFI)

Spacecoin (Spacecoin·SPACE), a blockchain-based satellite network project, said on the 23rd that it has signed a strategic partnership with World Liberty Financial (World Liberty Financial·WLFI), a decentralized finance (DeFi) project led by the family of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Through the partnership, the two parties carried out a token-swap investment to exchange their native tokens, SPACE and WLFI. The move is aimed at building a long-term cooperative relationship and aligning interests. They also plan to focus on developing real-world use cases—such as real-world asset (RWA) tokenization—by combining WLFI’s stablecoin USD1 with Spacecoin’s satellite-based infrastructure to deliver innovative financial services.

Spacecoin said, “This partnership is a starting point to formally reaffirm both sides’ confidence in each other’s vision and to align interests around the project’s long-term success,” adding that it is “a collaboration to create new solutions that combine decentralized finance technology with the connectivity of satellite internet.”

WLFI said, “Spacecoin is a bold project that is launching its own satellites and building a new internet infrastructure from space,” adding, “That level of execution and vision aligns with the values WLFI considers important. We will build the foundation of an interconnected economic system together.”

Oh Tae-rim, founder of Spacecoin, said, “Through cooperation with WLFI, which provides DeFi solutions with regulatory compliance and reliability, we will create an environment where even first-time internet users can immediately access financial transactions,” adding, “We will present a new model for access to financial transactions by combining satellite internet and blockchain.”
