Bithumb said on the 23rd that it held a volunteer activity involving blood donations and the donation of blood donation certificates for employees on the 21st, at a blood donation bus set up in front of the main entrance of Samwon Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The event marked the company’s first blood donation activity of 2026, arranged with the aim of starting the new year with giving.
The blood drive also took place through employees’ voluntary participation. A total of 50 employees took part in donating blood and also joined in donating blood donation certificates via a donation box placed on site. The collected blood and certificates are expected to be delivered to where they are needed through a charitable organization.
Bithumb said it has been carrying out ongoing CSR initiatives by continuing blood donation and blood donation certificate donation activities every year, rather than limiting them to a one-off event. The company explained that these efforts contribute to stabilizing the blood supply while expanding a company-wide culture of sharing life through direct employee participation.
A Bithumb official said, “We hope that the small actions of our employees gathered through the first blood donation of 2026 will help save precious lives,” adding, “We will continue to pursue giving activities that employees can practice in everyday life.”
