BitMine stakes an additional 62,000 Ether, bringing total close to 2.33 million

BitMine, the world’s largest corporate holder of Ethereum (ETH), has staked an additional roughly 62,000 Ether.
According to Onchain Lens on the 28th (local time), BitMine staked an additional 62,304 Ether that day, worth $186 million at current prices.
BitMine’s total staked amount rose to 2,328,288 Ether, valued at about $6.96 billion at current prices.
BitMine’s Ether holdings stand at around 4.24 million Ether as of that day. Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine, recently projected that if the company stakes all of the Ether it has stockpiled, annual revenue could reach $374 million. Cointelegraph, factoring in BitMine’s recent staking volume, estimated current annual staking revenue at about $160 million.
Meanwhile, BitMine plans to build a U.S.-based validator infrastructure within the year and run staking in-house.
