Bitcoin treasury management firm Strive (ticker: ASST) has purchased additional Bitcoin (BTC).
According to cryptocurrency-focused media outlet CoinDesk on the 28th (local time), Strive recently acquired an additional 333.89 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 13,132 BTC.
That is worth more than about $1.1 billion at current prices.
Strive said the purchase was funded by raising $225 million through the issuance of SATA preferred stock. It also said it repaid about $110 million of the $120 million in debt of Semler Scientific (SMLR), which it recently acquired.
The additional Bitcoin purchase was reported to have been carried out alongside a financial restructuring following the capital raise and acquisition.
