U.S. President Donald Trump flatly denied any connection to Jeffrey Epstein, claiming that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and author Michael Wolff colluded to undermine him and his presidency.
According to Walter Bloomberg, a breaking news account, on the 2nd (local time) Trump referred to recently released DOJ materials and said, “I had no relationship with Epstein, and I have never visited his island.” He added that “the information made public shows that Epstein and Wolff worked together to harm me and my presidency.”
Trump also said he plans to take legal action over the matter, stating that he will file a lawsuit. He stressed that the allegations surrounding him related to Epstein are politically motivated attacks.
The remarks came as controversy continues to spread over recently disclosed Epstein-related documents.
