Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $70,000.

According to CoinMarketCap on the 5th, Bitcoin was trading at $69,512.27 as of 9:19 p.m., down 8.68% from the previous day. That marks a 20.95% plunge compared with a week earlier.

It is the first time since November 2024—about 1 year and 3 months—that Bitcoin has traded below $70,000.

The so-called “kimchi premium” slipped into the 0% range. According to CrypPrice, the kimchi premium was tallied at 0.31% as of 9:19 p.m.
