Robert Kiyosaki, known for the bestselling Rich Dad Poor Dad, has sold Bitcoin.

On the 6th, Kiyosaki wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that “I sold some Bitcoin and gold. I’m patiently waiting until a new bottom price emerges for gold and Bitcoin, and when that time comes, I may buy again.”

He added, “If silver hits $74 and gold reaches $4,000, I will buy more. I hold enough Ethereum for now. I’ll buy more later.”

The post that he sold Bitcoin contrasts with his pro-buy stance just four days earlier. On the 2nd, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “The gold, silver and Bitcoin markets have crashed right now. That means they’re on sale. With cash in hand, I’m waiting for the moment to start buying more gold, silver and Bitcoin at these sale prices.”

At the time, he said, “When Walmart runs a sale, poor people rush in and buy, and buy, and buy again. But when financial asset markets go on sale—that is, when a crash hits—poor people sell and run, while the rich rush in and buy, and buy, and buy again.” He ended by asking, “What will you do?”

Meanwhile, on the 6th, Bitcoin plunged in global markets from the previous session to trade in the $62,000 range, jolting investors. That is roughly half the all-time high of $126,000 recorded in October last year—down by half in just four months.

Kiyosaki also added: “Rough times are coming. Your profit is made not when you sell, but when you buy. When I start buying again, I’ll post it on X.”
