Global Web3 venture capital firm Hashed and its subsidiary ShardLab said on the 11th that they are recruiting participants for the Web3 talent development program “Protocol Camp (Protocol Camp) Cohort 9.”

Protocol Camp is a 12-week intensive building program jointly designed by Hashed and ShardLab. It is structured so participants can experience, in depth, the full product development process—from ideation to protocol design, product implementation, and market validation through Demo Day.

The 9th cohort is planned as a journey in which builders from across Asia come together to build real-world products, and it will be run in a hybrid format combining online and offline sessions. Round-trip airfare and accommodation required for participation in offline sessions will be fully covered. In addition, reflecting the latest development trends, Cohort 9 will select all participants under the unified track of “builders,” rather than recruiting by job function.

Applicants may choose one of two modes—“AI vibe coding” or “traditional coding”—depending on their preferred working style. The AI vibe coding mode allows applications as an individual or a two-person team. The traditional coding mode allows applications as an individual or a team of up to three.

Protocol Camp said it will go beyond theory and concentrate all capabilities on producing deliverables that work in the real market. To that end, Hashed investment professionals, ShardLab engineers, and experts from global financial institutions and technology partners will participate as mentors and judges.

Program graduates will receive “Protocol Camp Alumni” status and, by joining a tight-knit cross-cohort network, will gain access to a range of growth support such as collaboration opportunities within the Hashed ecosystem and consideration for follow-on investment.

Any builder seeking to solve real-world problems with blockchain technology may apply. The application period runs from Feb. 16 to Mar. 22, and selected participants will take part for a total of 12 weeks from Apr. 13 to Jul. 3.

Hashed CEO Kim Seo-jun emphasized that “Protocol Camp Cohort 9 starts from an attempt to break down the boundaries between roles,” adding that “when the roles of those who plan and those who implement and prove things through to the end are integrated into one, the pace of innovation will accelerate.”

ShardLab CEO Kim Ho-jin said, “Protocol Camp’s greatest asset is a strong alumni community that helps one another grow even after completing the program,” adding that he looks forward to builders’ challenge in finding peers to build together the next-generation Asian Web3 ecosystem where AI and blockchain converge.
