BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, is set to list its tokenized money market fund (MMF), BUIDL, on the decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap (UNI). On news of the collaboration with BlackRock, Uniswap’s price jumped more than 20%.

According to U.S. magazine Fortune on the 11th (local time), BlackRock announced that it would list BUIDL on Uniswap that day. As part of the partnership, BlackRock also said it would purchase Uniswap’s UNI token. The specific amount to be bought was not disclosed.

Following the news, Uniswap’s token price surged from the $3 range to the $4 range. According to CoinMarketCap, Uniswap was trading at $4.08 as of 11:39 p.m. that afternoon, up about 21.65% from the previous day. Compared with a week earlier, it is up close to 8%.
