Eric Trump, the second son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, visited “Trump World” in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 11th. Eric Trump, who met with the key figures behind the development of Trump World that day, is said to have shown strong interest in the potential of South Korea’s real estate market and digital transformation.
Yeouido Trump World is a symbolic project marking the Trump brand’s first entry into a market outside the United States. Key figures who led the creation of Yeouido Trump World gathered on site that day. Attendees included Lee Jun-ha, CEO of Quantum Development (former head of Daewoo Engineering & Construction’s U.S. subsidiary), who spearheaded the introduction of the Trump brand; Park Moon-soo, chairman of developer Mirae & Value; and Yoon Se-han, CEO of Haeahn Architecture, the project’s designer.
Despite a packed schedule in South Korea, Eric Trump made a surprise visit to the “first overseas Trump World,” named after his father, former U.S. President Donald Trump. He toured the complex and received a briefing on the project’s development background and design philosophy. Yeouido Trump World is assessed to have set a benchmark for luxury mixed-use residential complexes by being the first in Korea to introduce hotel-style services and high-end community facilities at the time of its presales.
CEO Lee co-developed Trump World Tower near the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York with the Trump Organization. He also successfully carried out seven Trump World development projects in key areas across Korea, including Yeouido in Seoul, Yongsan, Busan, and Daegu.
