Zero Hash adds Monad-based USDC support…expands stablecoin payments

Digital-asset infrastructure firm Zero Hash has added support for Circle’s U.S. dollar stablecoin USDC on the Monad network, moving to expand its stablecoin payment infrastructure.

According to The Block on the 11th (local time), Zero Hash said it has integrated the Monad blockchain and USDC on Monad into its platform. This allows clients to build stablecoin-based payment services without running their own blockchain infrastructure or obtaining regulatory licenses.

With the integration, Zero Hash clients such as Kalshi, Gusto and Public will be able to implement a range of payment flows including real-time account top-ups, cross-border remittances, B2B settlement and on-chain commerce. Zero Hash said the structure is designed to lower barriers to entry for businesses.

Raji Parekh, head of stablecoins and payments at the Monad Foundation, said, “Monad is a fast and reliable network,” adding that “near-instant transaction finality enables stablecoin payments to scale at large volumes.”

Mark Daley, Zero Hash’s chief business officer (CBO), said, “While stablecoin activity is currently concentrated on Ethereum and its ecosystem, usage is increasing on other layer-1 and layer-2 networks as well,” adding that “Monad’s technical characteristics can support fast, cost-efficient payments at scale.”
