Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), said a “new narrative is needed for crypto.”
According to crypto-focused media outlet Coin Bureau on the 12th (local time), Hoskinson made the remarks while attending “Consensus Hong Kong 2026,” held in Hong Kong that day, saying, “The crypto industry is not healthy right now.”
Hoskinson stressed that “(crypto) market sentiment is at an all-time low.” He added that “the near-term micro environment looks negative (for the crypto industry),” but said “the macro backdrop is forcing a pivot in the industry’s direction.”
