Crypto infrastructure provider Zerohash has begun supporting Circle (USDC) payments on Monad.

According to The Block on the 12th (local time), Zerohash announced the previous day (the 11th) that it would add Monad (MON) to its stablecoin payments system. Zerohash said, "With this integration, existing clients such as Kalshi and Gusto can build and operate stablecoin-based payment systems without having to build their own infrastructure or obtain licenses."

Zerohash believes Monad can support stablecoin payments efficiently. Mark Daly, Zerohash’s chief business officer (CBO), said, "As stablecoins expand into payment and settlement use cases, related activity is increasing not only on Layer 1 but also on Layer 2 networks," adding, "Given Monad’s technical characteristics, it should be able to support large-scale stablecoin transactions faster and more cost-effectively."
