ShinSiWay, a KOSDAQ-listed company, has bought more than 5,000 ether (ETH).
According to industry sources on the 19th, ShinSiWay disclosed that it recently purchased 5,184 ether. The average purchase price was 2,893,000 won per ether, bringing the total to about 15 billion won.
ShinSiWay recently adopted an Ethereum-focused Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) strategy and also changed its corporate name to “Parataxis Ethereum.” The company also recently amended its articles of incorporation to specify the acquisition, management and staking of digital assets as business purposes.
ShinSiWay said, “Ethereum is emerging as foundational infrastructure for a new global economy beyond a simple digital asset,” adding, “We will convert part of our cash and cash equivalents into Ethereum to secure the potential for long-term preservation of assets.”
