Bitmine adds 51,162 more Ether purchases last week, pushing holdings past 4.42 million

Bitmine Immersion Technologies, the world’s largest corporate holder of Ether, bought an additional 51,162 Ether (ETH) last week, expanding its total holdings to more than 4.42 million.
According to the company on the 23rd, as of the 22nd Bitmine held 4,422,659 ETH. That equals about 3.66% of total Ether supply (120.70 million). Valued at an ETH price of $1,958, the stake is worth about $8.6 billion. The company said its long-term goal is to secure 5% of total ETH supply.
Bitmine’s total holdings of digital assets and cash were tallied at $9.6 billion. In addition to ETH, this includes 193 Bitcoin, $691 million in cash, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries, and a $17 million stake in EITCO Holdings.
Of its ETH holdings, 3,040,483 ETH is staked. The company said its current annualized staking income is about $171 million. It added that the seven-day yield stands at 2.89%, above the CESR of 2.81%.
Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said, “Even during a mini crypto-winter phase, we are systematically executing our treasury strategy,” adding, “Given Ethereum’s strengthening fundamentals, the recent pullback looks like an attractive buying opportunity.”
He cited Ethereum’s growth drivers as: ▲Wall Street’s expanding tokenization ▲AI-driven smart blockchain use ▲the creator economy’s shift on-chain, and said, “ETH’s price does not fully reflect its utility and its role as the future financial infrastructure.”
Bitmine plans to launch its proprietary staking solution, ‘MAVAN,’ in the first quarter of 2026. The company estimated that once fully staked, annual staking rewards would reach about $249 million.
